At Future Flow GPMS, we strive to deliver projects to the highest standards. As such, there are a number of South African developed best practice guidelines, as well as internationally recognised protocols that we adhere to.
South African guidelines that are applied include:
- water sampling techniques,
- aquifer (pump) testing methodologies,
- borehole and aquifer protection strategies,
- dolomitic aquifer management,
- landfill site study guidelines,
- EMP basic assessments and full EIA studies guidelines, and
- regional mine closure guidelines and principles.
Some documents and methods used are:
- Minimum standards and guidelines for groundwater resource development for the community water supply and sanitation programme;
- Waste – Aquifer Separation Principle (WASP); and
- Policy and strategy for Groundwater Quality Management in South Africa.
